Innovation in Education
The Innovation Center of Education science supports various types of innovation and entrepreneurship in the field of education, both in formal and informal learning environments. Among other things, this means:
- development of ideas and methods
- skill development
- new ways of learning and teaching
- digital learning environment
- education for the future
Tryggvi Brian Thayer (tbt [at] hi.is) is the project manager for innovation at the Faculty of Education and is in charge of the hub's pedagogical role.
Support for students and entrepreneurs
In addition to innovation in education, the center supports students and staff of the University of Iceland who want to take their first steps in the entrepreneurial environment.
Free consultation sessions are offered for those who have an idea or are working on an innovative project, among other things.
